Recently it worked out for Brothers James, Jonathan, and Steven to record a 9 song c.d. (about 30 minutes of material) in Portland, at In His Service Ministries Studio. Gary Miles, who runs the studio patiently took a day and a half of his time, along with his experience and recorded us. As the title states, we are hoping this is all to our Father's glory, that it might bring edification to those who hear it. Free copies of this c.d. are available, please email James and I should be able to work it out. Below are all of the songs in MP3 form for your listening. If you do receive the cd, please feel free to copy and distribute it!
The Lyrics are posted at the bottom of this page.
ONE MORE DAY
One more day, Adonai (Lord) get me through
Just one more day I hope to be with you
If I’ll hold on, and pray
Tomorrow I’ll reach, and ask you once more
Please help me endure.
Just one more day, Just one more day
Adonai Yahveh (Lord GOD)
ONCE AGAIN
Finally hating myself again
All those faults I’ve seen in them
Are found in me once again.
Been too long loving a dead man.
Testimonies of things so shameful, so foolish, so vain.
ch) There’s nothing great to glory of in a dead man’s journey
One day I’ll rise in victory, one day he’ll rise no more
Until that day I need you to hold me, until the time of my change.
And as this world is waxing colder, help my heart in your love stay.
One day I’ll learn to love these friends
As much as I loved the old man
One day I’ll learn to love these friends.
Once again I need the sorrow
Once again I need the grief
I need the victory, I need relief. (ch)
YAHVEH YAHVEH (LORD LORD)
(Exodus 34:6b; [chorus:Exodus 33:14;
English translation:
The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious,
longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.
ch) My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest
Take My yoke upon you and ye shall find rest
To you who are weary I will give you rest.
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth,
saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye (ch)
Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment,
and wait on thy God continually.
AS A CHILD
As a child I prayed to him, please forgive
As a child I knew the wrong that I did.
Lying on my bed he showed to me, all was gone
From the East unto the West, no more wrong.
A voice now I had traded for the world’s
A voice that just refused to be heard
A voice that little child heard so clear
A voice Adonai (Lord) which kept me so near.
All grown up now in the world, without you
Never knowing just where you are, or what to do.
Many voices want to say, follow me
And yet that child still remains so hungry
Then happenstance and some pain
Have brought your voice again
With the narrow path away from sin
And all that in this world I’ve ever been
And I know if I don’t listen to your voice this second time
That I might not get the chance to run.
So I call upon the One who forgave that little child
The One who cared enough to call again.
Growing up now a second time, as a child
From milk to meat I must remain, as a child
Sent unto this cold and lonely world, to gather more
Sent unto the blind and the deaf, and the poor
Seeing people hear your voice
Hungry children with the choice
O Adonai please help them to obey
For I myself was too once gone astray
And I know that I don’t understand exactly how I came
And I know that I did nothing to deserve
Friendship and fellowship and all that you provide
And the hope of something better than this world
And I know if I don’t listen to your voice this second time
That I might not get the chance to run.
So I call upon the One who forgave that little child
The One who cared enough to call again.
PSALMS 137
English translation:
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept,
when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the
willows in the midst thereof. For there they that carried us
away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us
required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a strange land? If I
forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of
my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of
Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation
thereof. O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed;
happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served
us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones
against the stones.
PSALMS 44:1-8
We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us,
what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. How
thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst
them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and
thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst
a favour unto them. Thou art my King, O God: command
deliverances for Jacob. Through thee will we push down our
enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up
against us. For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword
save me. But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put
them to shame that hated us. In God we boast all the day long,
and praise thy name for ever.
HOSEA 2:19,20
English translation:
And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee
unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness,
and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and
thou shalt know the LORD
VELEE YIRUSHALAYIM
English Translation:
And concerning Jerusalem, thy city, oh in mercy return.
And dwell in her midst like you said
And build her also, in our days, oh an everlasting habitation
And the throne of David, David thy servant
Oh hurry, dwell in her midst.
RETURN HOME
Don’t feel so far from your home, it’s not such a long journey.
The path is revealed to you- it waits but don’t wait too long.
The wounds received by the world, by grace they gather healing
Make peace and turn again, love and serve the One King
Don’t be afraid, His love surrounds you. Though you may feel alone.
And within a small (soft) voice calls you Return Home.
And on the way back home the heavens rejoice greatly
The angels sing with joy as souls return to harmony
When light is revealed, the most blessed (precious) treasure
Then sorrow has no place, and joy abounds forever.
