05/02/02 On the way to Haifa
Greetings
We have been invited to spend 2 days witnessing at a "new age" festival in Haifa. We considered going, but one of the reasons that hindered us from taking it too seriously was the cost. Yesterday Layla (one of our Christian friends from Tel Aviv) called and told us that a man she knew in ministry wanted more Christians to come and witness at the event. He offered to pay all expenses, food, etc. I talked to the man this morning, and it seems as though we will be leaving on a bus this afternoon to go up to Haifa. We could appreciate prayer, as I think it will be a battle- but our hope is steadfast- that we could encourage people to come to the light.
Also, Paul has made it back to the states, and is planning on heading back up to Oregon to do some work. I think that he is of a mind to go abroad again though!
