The event of the past year keep on calling us to repentance and preparation for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us not get weary, but more than ever before live the Gospel out and speak it, in season and out of season. Let us redeem the time for the days are evil and the time is short. For He is at the doors, and the Spirit and the Bride say “Come Lord Jesus!”

Despite COVID becoming “more real” than we all first believed or imagined, we continue to visit with widows in their homes and to help them in their needs. One of their greatest needs is to find encouragement from God’s Word. Most of them tell us that we are the only ones who visit with them, especially now, and as we are getting ready to leave, they so often beg us to stay just a little longer.

In order to continue serving in Moldova, with the border so tight during the pandemic, Viorel and his wife moved to Moldova so that they could tend to the ministry. He continues to help orphans in difficult situations, as well as helping to oversee several small church assemblies. Ionut, a seven years old little boy who recently lost his mother had no one to take care of him and no place to go. Brother Viorel helped Ionut obtain an emergency passport and was able to place him in a Christian orphanage in southern Romania. All these papers are costly, but with your help Ionut lives in a loving environment today. We thank you and praise the Lord for you.

Our work in Romania has gotten hard and risky since the pandemic has taken a great toll on our country. Many were infected with the virus and called home to be with the Lord. Our two workers from Vaslui were both very ill and Petrica, who was otherwise healthy, was unexpectedly called home to be with Jesus. We’re still in disbelief that our precious brother is not with us anymore. He was a quiet man with Godly character and a good standing with men and God. He is terribly missed.
